High School Fellowship Program

Many students want to become leaders who change the world, but don’t know where to start. H2O for Life’s High School Fellowship Program teaches students how to lead a service project at their school and become the changemakers of the future. In this program, youth meet monthly with an international cohort of peers to learn from experts who are leading the fight against the global water crisis. Throughout the program, fellows will each lead a fundraising project in their school and/or community to help bring clean water and sanitation to a partner school somewhere around the world. By the end of the program, fellows will have explored careers by hearing from impact speakers, earned service hours, developed leadership skills, and will be recognized by H2O for Life as a Global Changemaker!

Who can join?

Applications are open to anyone aged 14-18. The Fellowship Program is open to international applicants.

When do meetings take place?

Meetings take place monthly on Saturdays at 10:00 am - 12:00 pm U.S. Central Timezone (UTC-6) via Zoom. Exact meeting dates are listed in the application. 

Can more than one student from my school apply?

Yes; in fact, we encourage you to apply with friends! 

What is the service project?

As part of the Fellowship Program, you will complete an H2O for Life service-learning project. This includes selecting a partner school from our website that needs a clean water, sanitation, or hygiene (WASH) intervention. We'll guide you in planning and implementing a community project that raises awareness about barriers to water access and raises funds to support your partner school's WASH intervention.

We know fundraising can feel challenging, so we're here to provide support and mentorship throughout the process and help you design a project that fits your strengths.
